Services
Every engagement starts from the same conviction: your organisation already has most of the information it needs to win — it just isn’t structured to be used. Here’s how we fix that, on three fronts.
Competitive Intelligence
Who it’s for: Airlines, airports, lessors, MROs, aviation suppliers, and other organisations competing in markets that move faster than their planning cycles.
The problem: Strategy sessions run on last year’s picture. Competitor capacity changes, new market entrants, pricing moves, and regulatory shifts get noticed late — usually when they’re already in the news. Nobody owns the job of watching, and the information that does arrive is anecdotal.
What we do:
- CI function design — we build your intelligence capability: what to watch, who watches it, the tools, the analysis frameworks, and how findings reach decision-makers.
- Monthly intelligence briefing (retainer) — Elocor runs the watch for you and delivers a concise monthly briefing: what moved, why it matters, and what to consider doing about it. Built for a leadership audience, not an analyst’s inbox.
- Deep-dive studies — a focused assessment of one competitor, market, route region, or strategic question, delivered as a decision-ready report and briefing session.
What changes for you: Leadership conversations start from a shared, current view of the market. Surprises get rarer. Decisions get faster and better defended.
Knowledge & Information Architecture
Who it’s for: Operations, safety, engineering, and programme teams — anywhere hard-won experience is the real asset and losing it is the real risk.
The problem: People can’t find what the organisation already knows. Documents live in ten places with three names each. Lessons get learned, filed, and forgotten. When a senior person leaves, their knowledge leaves with them — and in aviation, that’s not just an efficiency problem, it’s a safety and compliance one.
What we do:
- Knowledge audit — a structured assessment of where your critical knowledge lives, where it leaks, and where the single points of failure are. Our standard entry engagement.
- Information architecture & taxonomy design — the structure underneath your SharePoint, Confluence, or document systems: naming, classification, findability. Designed by a PhD in the discipline, not guessed at.
- Lessons-learned and knowledge-retention systems — practical processes that capture experience from projects, incidents, and departing experts — and put it back into circulation.
- KM strategy & ISO 30401 alignment — a knowledge management approach your auditors, regulators, and board can stand behind.
What changes for you: People find the right thing in seconds instead of days. Critical knowledge survives departures. Lessons actually change behaviour.
Enterprise Architecture Advisory
Who it’s for: Transformation leads, CIOs, and IT executives who need senior architecture thinking without hiring a permanent chief architect.
The problem: Systems, processes, and data that grew by accident now slow every change you attempt. Every new initiative rediscovers the same landscape from scratch. Vendors propose solutions to problems nobody has mapped.
What we do:
- Architecture review & roadmap — a fixed-scope, TOGAF-aligned assessment of your current landscape and a pragmatic roadmap to where you need to be. Written for decision-makers, not shelfware.
- Capability-based planning — connecting strategy to systems through the capabilities your organisation actually needs, so investment goes where it matters.
- Fractional architect (retainer) — ongoing senior architecture counsel: reviewing vendor proposals, governing major programmes, and keeping the roadmap honest.
What changes for you: A shared map of what you have, a defensible plan for what’s next, and an experienced second opinion before you sign anything big.
How engagements work
Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute discovery call. If there’s a fit, most clients begin with a fixed-scope assessment (typically 2–4 weeks), which either stands alone or leads into an implementation or retainer arrangement. We work remotely by default, on-site where the work demands it, for clients in South Africa, across Africa, and internationally.
